Our family opened Bruno’s Pizzeria in 2015 in dedication of our Nonno, Giordano Bruno, who immigrated from Milano, Lombardia, Italy to New York and became a Pizzaiolo.
When our Nonno relocated to Colorado, he needed to make a few additions to his dough recipe in order to replicate his NY dough. With his additions, our Nonno’s crust tasted like New York again.
Later, he relocated to New Mexico, and was a well know chef in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, & Albuquerque.
In 2019, we expanded with Punchy’Z “the GOAT” Pizza to share our NY Pies in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.
Both locations are Family run. There are currently 3rd, 4th, 5th, & the newest addition 6th Generation doing what we love.
-
To our family food is so much more, it's our culture. Every holiday, birthday, accomplishment, or any other excuse to eat, always brings our family together. Sundays were always spent at Nonno's house, to eat, drink wine, make his NY Wood Fired Pizza, and to enjoy spending time together.
Our family wanted to share our culture and the same love that we have for food, family, and the NY Pie. We hope it brings you and your family together. Salute!

Fuller Lodge Chef

Quintana Newton: “No, but I’m sure that I saw him at one time or another. On Thursday nights, all the big shots up there—Teller, all of them, Bradbury – Bradbury was a soldier at the time—they all used to congregate at the Fuller Lodge. I think it was on a Thursday. On Thursdays they always had—George Marchi used to be the chef, and he made the best spaghetti in the world. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten spaghetti like that. They would all go to that. Nobody would miss his spaghetti on that particular night.” Source: Atomic Heritage Foundation

Martinez: “Back to the Fuller Lodge. The chef’s name was George Marchi, and he was a very good chef. The food was very, very good, and the prices were so reasonable, you could eat out every day. I knew people that worked at the lodge, a lot of the waitresses I knew from the valley.” Source: Atomic Heritage Foundation
